Everyone deserves equal access to physical activity and sport.

That’s why our pioneering and award-winning Sports Project has been providing physical activity sessions across our services and in the community. We’ve also improved access to sports equipment and clothing, built in-house gyms in our hostels, and supported accommodation.
We know that bringing physical activity into core homelessness provision can bring positive change, improving people’s physical and mental health, social relationships, and overall quality of life.
By making sport accessible, the project has debunked the myth that people experiencing homelessness aren’t interested in or can’t participate in sports – or don’t care about their health and wellbeing.
